Sticks + Madness + Ninjas + Techno

The only Newgrounds cliche' missing is sprites. This is just another combat flash. The animation is decent, but unremarkable. A ninja sneaks into a midevial castle and tries to kill everybody for no apparent reason. There's a couple cool moments, such as when he springboards off of the sword pinning the guy's head to the wall, or when he spirals up the tower. Other parts were kinda dull. There's no blood, which only makes the dismemberment of the enemy ninja at the end that much moe confusing. Also, apparently the only thing that can kill a ninja is some random mook who threw his sword from off-screen when the ninja wasn't looking. VERY good for a first submission, but I hope the artist challenges himself more next time.

Even scarier than a regular exchange student!

Interesting story! ^_^

Poor English. ~_~;

Great graphics! ^_^

These backgrounds are the best ever! :) Matsumo's art continues to improve. The story in this one seems intriguing. I don't know where the story will go next, but he has laid the foundation for a good series here.

Keep up the good work, Matsumo-san! :)

I really liked this one. :D

I'm not really into music, but I know a catchy song when I hear one, and I thought this was a fun cartoonification of it. The style is very simple, but consistant, and I loved the extreme camera angles and focusing. Oh, and the fonts. Can't have too many cheesy Scooby Doo fonts in a music video to a song like this one! :D Personally, I would have liked to see more expressive eyes (round Schoolhouse Rock eyes like this kinda don't do it for me,) but it's the style's not going to make or break a cartoon when the animation's this good and the quality's this consistant.

Make Family Guy funny again!

...kill Stan Smith. :D

Seriously, there's too many... awkward pauses... in the middle of... *breathe* ...the studio exec's... speech. You should download Audacity and fix it, it's a free program.

Short & Sweet. Totally worth my 30 seconds! :D

I was just expecting a Robot Chicken ripoff. You know. "You can't resist flavor of this magnitude!" That thing. Thanks for proving me wrong! :D

Wait a minute... Episode 51? How long have you been doing these?

Holy shit, the number's real... God dammit, now I have to watch 50 of these things! :P

New type movie despoiled by gleeful of audience

"NEWGROUNDS" that are to host a file recieved bennefit of maximum good fortune... . ... . . .. . Unexpected submission of enjoyable foreign animate of the big frames per second!

This flash is contains of a... . .. . .. . .. .. ... ... . . .
Code by a man of called Moorse for review random humor.

Just kidding. :P

Seriously, get a gaijin to write the description for you, next time. And get rid of the canned laughter. (It reminds me of TV shows for old people, which makes me sad.)

MATSUMO responds:

Thank you very much for advice. Because I am a Japanese, is not so good at English; (read with a translation tool). Therefore I am your "Code by a man of called Moorse for review random humor. "
"Just kidding. :P"
I did not understand meanings well. Will you teach it in detail?
The laughter to come out in this picture is parody for the old comedy. So I insert it intentionally.

Wow. Random! I'm too confused to hate this!

... which I'm told is the true essence of Clock Day. Weird, huh?

Battosai810 responds:

yeah, that's the gist of it, really...
HAPPY CLAWK DAI!!!11!one!!two
yeah, we're never submitting anything like this again. lawl. (at least till the next clock day)

Wow. This one actually deserved it. :)

Well-done, told a story, all-around very nice. I've seen clock movies with more subtle hopping and beeter-drawn characters, but this one was just very well-written and directed. Great job! Happy Clock Day!

Oh yeah, and the Dragon Ball B thing was hillarious! :D

Powerful, creepy, meaningful stuff.

I shouldn't even try to interpret this. It's much too personal for that, though it's so abstract it practically begs for viewer interpretation. I will say that after I read the author's comments, and realized that ALL of the shorts were about death, not just the obvious ones, the one with the picture frames suddenly made perfect horrific sense. That and the one with the dog drinking the memory of the other dog seemed really sad. Okay so I lied. Interpret interpret interpret. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I hope it helped you work through your feelings.

Story + action + style!

Friggin' awesome, man. Some things like the plants could have looked better if they'ed been hand-made instead of 3D, but since that would have taken hours and hours longer than what you did with Swift3D, I don't blame you. I agree that the explosion scenes needed some orange particle fire or something. Perspective felt a bit off in a few of the dramatic perspective shots, like when he's pointing a gun at the camera, his hand and the gun should look bigger than they otherwise would.

These are all extremely minor complaints, though, compared to the awesomeness of the final product. You've done the three things almost nobody does on Newgrounds. You actually put some effort into it. You actually told a coherent story. And you tied everything together with a unified style. For doing those three things, you get full points. Can't wait to see you do it again later.

LogFish responds:

Thanks a lot! I know this is a shameful plug but you might like my SC series if you like plot (unfinished currently, needed a break so did this one) - start with StarCraft: Reconnoiter heh.

Yea there's definately a few things I can work on here, admittedly this is doing far better than I anticipated, I did this more for my own entertainment than anything else! I'll put more work into ironing out bugs and things in later episodes - thanks a lot for the big handy review!
